The inner journey begins in our heart because knowing and responding to what is true in our heart allows it to open wide.
There is no formula or complicated process. The truth is the same one you knew instinctively as a child; nothing has changed. It is absolutely simple.
The truth in our heart is open and soft.
The feeling is similar to falling into a welcoming sleep at night. You lie down and close your eyes and then open, relax and let everything go. Outside awareness dissolves, and you become completely awake within. As the heart relaxes, you gain awareness of the deeper levels within you. As the heart opens, your being enters into it.
When we let our heart relax, we are held by our own essence.
The dance in our heart begins in the open and soft interconnection between awareness and being. We experience a sense of nurture within. We know—and, we do not have to understand.
When we are upset and close our heart, we harden and protect our vulnerabilities.
Imagine how that feels. We may gain personal control, but we lose what is most precious—the delicate and deepest inner parts of ourselves.
Your real control is honesty.
On the surface, you can be honest about your thoughts and feelings, but there is an even deeper level of truth that comes from your inner being when your heart is open and soft. Imagine how that feels. In the most difficult and challenging times, we must remember that we can connect through even the tiniest of openings in our heart, find that deep level of awareness, our knowing, and subtly access our deep truth.
An open and soft heart is the golden key to everything true within.
It is an expression of love and compassion on all levels. It allows you to recreate yourself through own inner being. It’s time to dance in the sweet presence of vulnerability and the openness and softness of your heart.
