We hear much talk today about connecting with “higher consciousness” and “higher cosmic power”—and how, supposedly, this connection can bring into our life experience everything we desire. But I often wonder why we delegate our personal power—which we have in abundance—to outside resources?
If God [or the Cosmic Creator, or whatever you prefer to call this Force] created us in his image, then we have the inborn Divine capacity to create within us already. We don’t need to go out there and connect, we need to go inside and explore what we already possess; it is part of who we are. You don’t need to connect with your hand in order to utilize it. It is already there for you—ready to serve you at any given moment. That is how our creative power works, too!
Who are you? This is the most important question you can ask yourself. And your answer will determine the quality of your life. You don’t need to go far to better understand yourself. You just have to be and step into the light of your birthright as a Creator.
I do this by meditating. I am not sure if I do it the “right way,” according to some traditions, but that doesn’t matter. I cannot say I always get spiritual revelations and cosmic insights, but I truly enjoy the process of being quiet, in peace and harmony with my inner self, and listening to soft relaxing music. It definitely has a huge positive impact on my inner harmony and ability to connect with my inner self—and that’s what counts. It’s not some super-powerful outside force “out there” or cosmic energy. It is the energy within me.
We don’t need to go outside ourselves to realize our personal power.
We are all one with everything else. So, why do we separate ourselves in the first place and then feel like we have to go back and connect again? That doesn’t make sense to me.
So get ready to use your capacity to create. Connect with you! Your feelings, your emotions, your dreams! What is your truth? Tune in with yourself and your highest capacity. Embrace your truth. You are part of the universe, not an observer trying to “tap into it.” But at the same time, you have a self-expressed universe within yourself. Do you even realize the unlimited power you possess?
You inner truth lies in your dreams. Your dreams have to be bigger than your current circumstances and reach beyond your ego. Your dreams should inspire and awe you at the same time.
We are divine spiritual beings having the human experience. We are deities in jeans and tee-shirts. Embrace your power. Live and enjoy your truth.
