Angels & Inspirations: Invite the Energy of Forgiveness

By Emily Rivera Andrews

Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future.—Paul Boose

The energy of forgiveness is one of the most powerful forces to transform our lives. As we celebrate the New Year and embrace the possibilities contained within it, we find ourselves on a threshold. If we choose to cross this threshold it will magnificently transform our lives. But if we choose to cross, we must release the past. Releasing the past involves letting go. The most influential form of letting go is through forgiveness. The energy of forgiveness can enable us to transmute pain within our body, doubt in our thoughts and attachment within our emotions. It’s a form of creative energy that has the power to align us to higher versions of ourselves and has the potential to catapult us into a sense of freedom yet to be experienced within all areas of our lives.

Inviting the energy of forgiveness is a process now Divinely inspired for us all. As a result, most who consider themselves spiritually aligned individuals have actively taken steps to forgive others. But how much have we yet to release from the unconscious buildup lurking in our own hearts? Forgiveness work is like the peeling of an onion. It often contains multiple layers. We may work on healing a perceived wrong through forgiveness, but it is crucial to remember that every experience impacts our being on many levels. Experiences bring up emotions and create ideas that aren’t always relevant to the experience itself. Every time we find ourselves in a situation that may require forgiveness, there are wounds being touched upon that may not be directly attached to the triggering incident.

When we allow ourselves to resonate with the energies of resentment, anger, disappointment and other low vibrations, we create blockages and stagnant buildup that affects us physically, mentally and energetically.

This can show up as physical pain, negative thoughts and inaccurate perceptions. Our reality can become one of sadness; we lack energy and repeatedly judge ourselves and others. When these emotions show up, it’s not about ignoring them or pushing them to the side. It’s crucial that we voice them in an honoring way. Through this we have the ability create harmony and more positive empowering energies within our core.

As we begin the year, our angels are encouraging us to be diligent in inviting the energy of forgiveness.

Allowing it to move through us abundantly and graciously, releasing conscious and unconscious things as they arise within us. We also must periodically invite it within to heal the wounds that may reside unconsciously within us. This energy helps us transmute the old and create space to embrace the new as we vibrationally and energetically become more receptive to the influx of love that is shifting our planet. This love will allow you to feel lighter and more available to the Divine inspiration being shared with us.

Begin the year by de-cluttering your mind, body and spirit through the palpable energy of forgiveness. Invite God/Divine to move through your life with this energy. Invite it to move through all aspects of your being, conscious and unconscious. Invite it to help you release limitations that have kept you from your highest potential. Forgive yourself for all that is needed, while forgiving others so that you can claim your freedom.

You are being guided. You are being loved. All that you need is already within you. There are angels collaborating with your soul as you allow yourself to step into a magnificence that has been waiting for you—a magnificence that you will claim in 2013.
