Past Life Therapy Healing Method
By Carol Wentz Randaci
Generally, we are unaware of the scripts that direct and motivate who we are and everything we do.
As if participating in theatrical productions or movie screenplays, we appear to act out various parts throughout our life. These pre-existing scripts become available for resolution at the conception of each incarnation, and healing can take place using Past Life Therapy.
The memories we bring with us into this world exist as cellular or soul memory at birth. In the theory of reincarnation we live many lives. Each time we take a new incarnation we bring with us remnants of previous incarnations that we then unknowingly proceed to act upon in our current life. Sometimes these experiences seem harmless, almost good, but then others can be particularly troublesome.
Past Life Therapy can resolve the scripts that cause our life’s patterns, which are the root cause of everything from illnesses, to addictions or obsessions, to unwanted personality traits and characteristics.
The mind is a phenomenally intricate device. It works from multiple planes. There is the conscious mind, which is used to decipher and decode the world, decide on actions, make decisions, and is responsible for our basic thought processes. This conscious processing is what we call the rational mind, the objective mind, and the reasoning mind. With the rational mind we navigate our daily lives, dispute ideas, and establish concepts. But where do the programs for these intricate calculations come from?
Along with the rational part of the mind there is the unconscious mind, the unrecognizable, the irrational component. What we think with our conscious mind filters into the unconscious mind, which does not have the same ability to argue, decipher, calculate, or decide right from wrong as the conscious mind does. The unconscious mind perceives by intuition and recorded impressions. It is the repository of memory. Whatever the unconscious mind is told it accepts as fact. The unconscious mind acts as an infinite recording device. It records everything we hear, sense, and feel. It’s all there, recorded, and sealed.
The unconscious carries all the events, feelings, thoughts, and emotions as a library of impressions. This library is our memory. It stores without discernment. It is like a handprint pressed into fresh concrete. The concrete does not make any thoughts or decisions about the handprint; it simply accepts the impression and records it.
One of the most amazing aspects of the unconscious memory is how easy it is to access.
In Dr. Morris Netherton’s method of Past Life Therapy, for example, de-hypnosis is used to allow the unconscious mind to open its records and bring the information to the forefront. Dr. Netherton’s work begins with the premise that any traumatic event creates a type of hypnotic state, and it is the hypnotic state that seals the event behind the conscious mind. He says that to hypnotize over a hypnotic state does not always present the best results, which is why de-hypnosis is a more effective option.
De-hypnotizing accesses the unconscious mind to reveal the source of unwanted habits, patterns, illness, or unhealthy behavior that obstruct one’s life by revealing and resolving the event that caused the patterns to begin with. This process of Past Life or even Past Event Therapy has many very useful and helpful features. The most advantageous being that it is a deeply healing therapy created to bring a person to a resolution and release unwanted obstacles—instead of simply viewing past life adventures.
A belief in past life is not necessary. It does not matter where the story or information comes from that is held in the unconscious mind. Just the fact that the mind has a story to tell indicates that it has its own reason for having that particular story. The origin is not important. The critical issue is that the tale has caused some type of obstacle blocking a person’s ability to live in a state of peace and completeness. The Netherton Method’s genius is the ability for an individual to access their unconscious mind in a relaxed, self-aware manner.
Past Life Therapy is a process of self-knowledge and intuition based in the thought that at the core of any illness or condition there could be a trauma that established the patterns of behavior that currently is obstructing further development. What makes this process effective is that by accessing the memory and bringing it to the conscious mind we inevitably honor true feelings, emotions, and perceptions without being judged, criticized or subverted. The person is guided to stay focused on all the sensations and feelings that come with the experience without being re-traumatized.
This is a gentle therapy that has changed many people’s life, allowing for deeper happiness and peace. The objective is to move through the point of conflict, confusion, fear, anger, sadness, or any other sensation. Healing then can take place by releasing, resolving, and understanding.
